Used jeans are cut up and deconstructed to remove hardware such as zippers, buttons and grommets. The jeans are fed into a machine that reduces them to fibers, which are then baled for spinning. The “fleece” is then spun and the denim fibers are mixed with recycled cotton fibers. The resulting soft cotton yarn feels good in more ways than one!
