Beginning Quiliting Class

Join Deb Kerr for this 6 session quilt class that will take you start to finish on this throw-sized quilt. The quilt, London Crossroads, makes a great baby gift, living room accent or wall art for that large empty space. Finished quilt measures 52”x64”. There will be homework so you will need a working sewing machine at home. Cutting tools will be provided in class. During the class you will learn how to cut with a rotary cutter and ruler, piece simple quilt blocks, assemble quilts, add borders, quilt layers together, and bind.

No prior quilting experience is necessary but participants should have a good working knowledge of their sewing machines.

The class will be held at Dawn's Quilt Shop's new retreat center - above the quilt store - at 522 Broadway, Alexandria, MN.

You can bring your own sewing machine (recommended) or you can rent one for the class. When you register for the class we will send you the supply list. Pattern is provided.
